Not that the tax rates in Cali aren’t high enough already, right? Haha. And of course it’s not that easy; too much of the taxes we already pay are being used for superfluous things (i.e. the war on terror). But, I think this cartoon gets the taxes-are-not-evil (although the people in charge of them might be) point across to people. We are trillions of dollars in debt; how are we supposed to get out of it without injecting at least a bit more money into the economy?
